The German All Stars Bangkok are mourning the loss of its founder Günther Glomb who passed away at the age of 84 on 17th August 2015 in his adopted home Bad Sauerbrunn in Austria.
Between 1951 and 1959, Glomb played 306 matches for 1. FC Nürnberg reaching the peak of his career in the German Championship finals where he contributed three goals to the 4:3 win over 1. FC Köln. After his professional career, Glomb became a coach and responsible for the Thai National team from 1968 to 1985.
